CVTS is pleased to offer screening examinations (abbreviated scans) to detect the risk of stroke, the presence of abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA), and peripheral vascular disease of the legs.  The cost of this potentially life-saving examination is $100, and is not billable to insurance.  These tests can be scheduled one week in advance in our ICAVL accredited vascular lab, by calling our office at 513.421.3494 and asking to speak with one of our registered vascular technologists.  All scans are interpreted by board-certified vascular or cardiovascular surgeons, and a final report will be sent to you and your physician within 2 weeks.  In the event that findings requiring emergent attention are identified, one of our vascular surgeons will be contacted before you leave the office.

If you are having symptoms associated with stroke, poor circulation in your legs, or previously diagnosed AAA, you would not benefit from these tests.  Your primary care physician can order a more thorough evaluation.
